"Lovely one night stay. Car parking reserved, very close to hotel. All staff we encountered were very helpful. Bags left early before check in and were delivered to our rooms. Our room was on 3rd floor and although hard to find and very aptly named ‘cosy double’ it was very comfortable and of a very good standard with a good view of the cathedral. Elemis toiletries, coffee machine & kettle with milk and water provided in fridge. Large comfortable bed, at least king size with good quality linen...

"O hotel está muito venho e sem manutençao. Tenho rinite alergica e, por consequencia, tive uma indisposiçao, precisa de reformas. "

"Lovely stay"

"From check in to check out our stay was amazing. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Perfect location. Delicious breakfast. Would definitely stay again"

"Stayed here many times. Always clean and tidy with pleasant team"

"I had made a call prior to check in to request parking, advised to get there early and ask at desk. This was incorrect and there were no spaces available. At 15.12, after standing in a queue for over 15 mins I am told my room was not ready, the manager came out and was totally disinterested in me as a customer, but found one that would be in another 5 mins. No apology what's so ever!! The staff member said I hope it will be better next time, to which I replied "I doubt there will be a next...

"The location is excellent for the castle and cathedral. It’s an old building and therefore not ‘flashy’ but it has character. We received a friendly welcome and the staff team were very helpful. It’s a great base for visiting the old town. We did not have the time to see the town down the hill. You may have to park in the car park opposite and pay, as the hotel car park is quite small but there is space to drop off a guest if needed and then to park."

"Clean room, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast in quality and quantity, most attentive and pleasant staff. Room furnishings and carpet a bit worn out, otherwise an excellent stay. Good situation right next to Blickling House and Estate with beautiful country walks."

"Really basic accommodation. You certainly get what you pay for...or perhaps a little less. It was a last minute booking, so not much of an option."

"First impressions of the hotel were excellent and overall it is a lovely place with generally attentive staff. All was going well and the receptionist said that we were lucky as our room was air conditioned, while others were not. We had been allocated room 6 and on opening the door there was an interesting staircase which split in two at a small landing with one set of stairs going to the bedroom, with the other leading to the shower room. Getting between the rooms you have to be very...

"Rooms are very tired, dated and not standardised, carpets very dirty in rooms. Television reception was so poor that made viewing anything not possible. Wifi worked, not all televisions were smart in that couldn't view streaming services. Some rooms still have single glazing, meaning cold and very noisy. The kitchen was okay but missing many things like bowls, poorly equipped. Entrance was unlit, making later arrival difficult as unable to see entrance and unable to enter code. Cleaning...

"Excellent, as always. Spacious, comfortable room with character. Lovely bistro and wonderful breakfast room."

"Not enough room for parking unless you have a small car.Code key system for room very hit and miss. Very nice room when you get in,clean and spacious."
