"Great unobtrusive Kiwi hospitality in a wonderful location. We were there in early spring and already the garden was bursting with color with tulips, daffodils, and blossoms on the trees. Birdsong everywhere. Enjoyed a very comfortable room and a great breakfast. Had great communication from Renee and Kevin. Looking forward to returning."

"Great place to bring kids to get away for a night, only downside was we had no water for half of our stay as there was a problem with the pump so that really put a dampener on our stay. They also rely on guests to clean up after themselves which for my family is no problem but we did have to do a clean of bathrooms/kitchen and floors before we settled and I’d assume guests would take advantage of this and not clean!Beaches are beautiful and lots of wildlife and she’ll collecting for kids to do...

"A lovely peaceful spot. Had wonderful night (2×) sleeps being so quiet. Enjoyed the fire and plenty of wood on hand. Emailed directions to the place were clear and easy to follow. Would have been nice to have had some physical contact from owners/managers as were a few basic items missing (no dishwash liquid, no shower bodywash/soap and no firestarters/newspaper to reset fire in morning). "A very comfortable stay in a lovely quiet location. Great pool and spa. Allows for day-trips to iconic landmark; Castle Point, Palliser Bay. Highly recommended!"

"Room was clean and tidy with tasteful decor. Had everything I needed for an overnight stay. Sink cupboard door was either warped or broken as it wouldnt close. Bed was very comfy and unit was warm and cozy with a heater supplied. Was disappointed with the shower. Had to turn the dial almost to hot to get water warm enough to shower in but it meant the water pressure was minimal so difficult to actually rinse off soap and shampoo. Quiet location. "Road motel by the city, very simple but well equipped. Owners very kind , helpful and polite. They hv a portable heater besides electrical blankets in the room which are necessary for the low temperatures in the winter. "
