"A good looking Hotel from the outside, the food in the restaurant smelled great as you climb the steps to the door. (There is a disabled lift around the side somewhere) Self check in with help available, parking fee arranged at this point, I had missed this on the website, it was £7.50 a night, not over the top but a surprise for me. "Staff were all so helpful. They made us feel so welcome. Facilities are great. Only complaint was the boiler in the cupboard was on and the pipes were hot, which made the rooms very warm. Other than that, it was a great place to stay."

"Only 3 rooms in this to tiny hotel. But it was spacious, peaceful & quiet. The best nights sleep I’ve had in a hotel for years. Lovely staff and nice pub below. The room was refurbished and the bathroom brand new. Situated right by the magnificent Heaton park. Recommended for families."

"John and Chris were amazing hosts! We stayed for a week and had a great time! They took out our trash/recycling daily and let us borrow an umbrella when it was raining. They also had a detailed pamphlet of things to do/eat in the area. 10/10 would stay here again :)"
