"We stayed in the studio cottage. It is with good ambiance and very spacious unit with full stocked kitchen facilities. The sea view is excellent and all made our stay very pleasant. There was a recent ownership transition and check in was through a phone call. We booked another unit originally with welcome gift and that was changed and we only found out after checking in. The new owner called and apologised and promised some compensation but never heard again. There was no instruction on WiFi...

"We found the breakfast super healthy and surprisingly filling. Fruit and natural yogurt supplied. The indoor/outdoor shared area we liked very much. You look out towards the base of The Nut and there right before you is a little water fall and pond with gold fish in it. Use of local stone and brick created lots of ambience in a rustic kind of way. My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay very much. Kerry and Alastair have put a lot of time, energy and thought into creating this little oasis....

"Very welcoming open hosts who offer lovely facilities and great guest care. When i jokingly added "boerewors" (unique South African sausage) to the breakfast menu selection, the host drove to Burnie to source some (not easy to find) and lo and behold it appeared on my plate for breakfast! Fantastic service - above and beyond!"
