"The cottage was clean and compact with two bedrooms and small family room and kitchen. The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. We were really only there in the late afternoon and evening as we were attending a nearby dog show. It would be a great place to relax if you had the time."

"We really enjoyed Pelican Retreat. The owners have done a terrific job with the place - crisp clean sheets, fresh paint, recent renovations, lovely garden and perfect location. The fur family loved being able to be indoors and outdoors in safe areas. The Christmas decorations are a lovely homey touch. We could not ask for a better holiday. "

"Spent 4 nights over new years here and it was such an amazing, relaxing and enjoyable time with my partner. We went kayaking along the river bank, swimming, had a bath during sunset over looking the water, bbqs and a fire outside. We didn’t even need to leave the property. We disconnected from the rest of the world and enjoyed time together just the two of us. Don’t think twice and book this one in, we can’t wait to come back. Beautiful place. "
