"Wonderful hotel on the square. The owner was super nice, the guy at the front desk waited on my due to traffic in the mountains to check me in. He was super nice. There’s history, cool decorations, modern class met old school charm. They did a wonderful job with the remodeling keeping the old feel and refurbishing it while ushering in modern amenities. You feel like you should be paying $500 a night, which in other areas it would cost that but Burnsville is a little nothing town and this place...

"Very peaceful, relaxing, comfortable experience. The only suggestion I have is there to be handrails on steps leading to cabin entrance. Loved it. Hope to return soon!"

"Beautiful Farm animal sanctuary tucked away in NC mountains with amazing view in early morning. Very cozy, relaxing sacred space. "

"This was such a nice house! My son, husband and I stayed here for 3 days. It was great! There were condiments and so much stuff for us to use, which was nice coming from out of state and not wanting to buy all the things that we would just use a little of. The place smelled so clean and fresh! They were great about communication every step of the booking and check in. We plan on coming back with my other family members next time. There was lots of extra room!"

"Shivani was such a great host ! She easily answered any questions and was very welcoming and accommodating. Great hospitality and the property was gorgeous ! Will definitely come again. "

"The room was well appointed, very clean, with a very comfortable bed, The hosts were very thoughtful in having coffee, bottled water, iced tea, soda and juice available in the dining room 24/7. The complimentary continental breakfast was convenient and offered a wide selection of breakfast items including fruit, yogurt, muffins, toast, danish, granola with toppings, instant oatmeal and more. There was a lovely private, comfortable patio area which I definitely enjoyed."

"Was very nice and quiet, hot tub worked well and the option of a fireplace and wood burning stove was great!"

"Great place great amenities we enjoyed the hot tub and quietness great owners and ground keeper was great came soon as we called. We didn’t know how to open lock box. Lol Absolutely visiting again "

"Dreamy little cabin. Carefully designed to meet all your needs in a small but very pleasant space. The drive up the road was a little daunting for a city person with a low slung car. Very considerate manager. Enjoyed both front and back porches."

"Location was nice and quiet. Enjoyed seeing deer and wild turkeys in front. Tiny home met our needs. Hot tub was wonderful each night. Wifi didn’t work for us but we were able to use data without issue thru Verizon. "

"Clean, convenient, and so cute! Heated blankets were are real treat, even though the weather was not cold at night in May when we stayed there. The view is incredible and just invites you to relax! Can't wait to return!"

"My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at the Fox Den to celebrate our anniversary. The location is conveniently 20 minutes from the nearest town, but just far enough away that it feels very remote. As of July 2025, many of the main parks in the area are still recovering from Hurricane Helene damage, but that didn't stop us from finding open places to explore, as the Fox Den is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Bom hotel, com aparência de novo.

Atendimento do check-in e check-out é rápido, frequentado por boas pessoas e famílias, atendentes simáticos. Café da manhã deixa a desejar (embora seja o melhor que já tive até o momento), a panqueca é bem boa, todos os itens são de papel ou plástico. A academia precisava de mais equipamentos.
