"Staff was friendly and helpful. There was no soap or shampoo in the room so maybe you have to ask for it. Most places just have it. No coffee maker and the office was closed at like 9:30am still on the day we checked out but sign on the door said they opened at 8am. No breakfast of any sort but it was not advertised, just get used to having at least coffee and a danish for a hotel in this price range. Very friendly staff and the place was clean though. All of the appliances looked new, very clean. A person could easily walk to historic downtown to check out what it has to offer. The Hosts live on the premises, so it is easy to communicate with them. "My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this charming lake house. The home was large, and the hardwood floors were beautiful. The backyard was PERFECT for small kids (and our dogs) to play! Lots of room to explore safely! The walk to the lake is probably about .6 miles away with a few hills, so keep that in mind. But it is a beautiful walk. "We were able to secure this home for the weekend of our family reunion. It was the perfect place for us.The house has many rooms and we were able to have a small gathering for my teenage cousin’s birthday.
