"I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though"

"The location is beautiful but I would not recommend it for a quick overnight. No restaurant on site either. It's a good 8 miles to a grocery store or pub!! It's a much better facility for family gatherings, reunions or a group traveling together. Read the fine print as some of the bathrooms are not attached to your room. It's your private bathroom, but you are walking through a semi public area to get there. I found that very uncomfortable... Esp for the money I paid and my days of hostel or...

"Very convenient to shopping and gas stations, although there isn't a lot to choose from for shopping being a quaint, adorable town with friendly, helpful natives. Very typical of an older motel but super nice people running it. On 9.26.26 the front section was being repaired but this did not cause any noise or inconvenience. It's a little thing but an ironing board and iron would have been appreciated. I would definitely book there again. Super clean!!"

"Do not go here. Toilet is an outhouse, literally. You will be walking through llama and goat poop at night with no lights to use the facilities Promise of an option for breakfast and dinner was a lie. We contacted the host and were denied."

"We had a great stay at the Stagecoach. The cabin is fun to stay at. It is not far from Acadia National Park. There were a few restaurants nearby including Scovils Millside Dining which had good food at great prices. The cabin was very, very clean. The outside shower was very cool. There was a picnic table and fire pit. The host met us there and went over all of the amenities and how everything works. We loved it."

"Super fun house and spot. The views were amazing, sunsets, peaceful and quiet. This is a rustic seasonal home but we really loved it. A little chilly till we found some more blankets. There is a propane fireplace which heats it up quickly but I would not leave that on overnight. The second bedroom is in a separate little studio and so you need to go outside to go to the cottage to use the bathroom. Also we did not notice re the tap water not potable and we used for coffee and tea :) so...

"Quite and comfortable place to stay while visiting Down East Main. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, bathrooms and showers. Best of all central AC which was a blessing during the 2026 pre-Fourth of July heat wave. Yes, the location is on the coast of Maine but summers are changing and for us AC is a must. We were also able to bring our pet Shelty and with that heavy coat of fur she was also pleased the rental had air. Less than an hour from Mt Desert Island, just a short distance up...

Clean and spacious room, easy room access, plenty of natural light with a great view from the room windows, very good communication with Patrick, and it was the perfect location to visit West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and Campobello Island (Don’t forget to bring your passport).
