"Greatly enjoyed our stay here for a week in February. The house was home base for us as we visited the three nearby National Wildlife Refuges. House was very clean and stocked with all essentials. Clear communications with the host added to the positive experience. Was third winter we have visited Albemarle/Pamlico peninsula to view wildlife. When we return, we will definitely try and book this lodging again."

"Great place and perfect for a guy to get away from it all, or take all the wildlife found in this area. Well-located near Phelps Lake and the Pungo Unit. It is isolated, so a visit to the grocery store on the way in will save you time if you think you will be going out for groceries later. I thoroughly enjoyed Birthday House. "Waterside Resort is an excellent choice for your stay to the Edenton area. Great location on the Albemarle Sound. Very clean and spacious condo. Fully equipped kitchen and lovely view from our unit. We enjoyed every evening with a cocktail at the fire pit to watch the sunset. Very friendly staff. We will return."
