"I believe I reviewed this property previously with a 5 star review. I give it 5 stars again, but wish I could keep the property a secret as I'd love to be able to book it anytime we want a relaxing weekend in WV. Have to be honest - we love this place!"

"First and foremost, the condo was clean and the beds were quite comfortable. I loved that it had a little balcony to enjoy my coffee in the morning and to view stars at night. It is in a beautiful setting and only 4 miles from Davis, where you can find places to eat. The location is ideal for visiting many natural areas and Blackwater State Park. It was very quiet the week we were there in early October too."

"House was perfect for what we needed. Kitchen was well stocked, we used the outdoor fire pit and hot tub. House was very clean and communication with the owner was easy. We were in the area to hike and visit local shops and breweries. This house would be nice in the winter for skiing because it a short walk to the slopes. Thank you!"

"The family had a great time on a fall weekend. We ranged in ages from 71 to 1. We rode bikes, shopped in Davis and Thomas, and disc golfed in Blackwater Falls. The children really enjoyed playing ping pong and the miniature golf down the road was excellent!"

"We enjoyed our stay on Timberline Mountain and the peace and quiet was"heavenly"! The beds are very comfortable, most of the bathroom fixtures look new and we appreciated the great bath products. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. We spenttime on the deck with coffee and a book and nature! Great stay!"

"Property was maintained beautifully. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very clean and orderly house. House flies kept appearing, however. Lots of books and games to entertain you. Fully equipped kitchen is a plus. Easy access to Thomas and Davis by car, or Thomas by foot path.The furnace fan motor was so loud the floor vibrated. Eventually noise disappeared. Internet router lost connectivity daily. I texted owner; no reply. Router looks old. Hauling out trash at end of stay was not...

"This was a perfect place for our family of 4 (and dog!). The house was very comfortable with great views of the mountains. We appreciated the quiet location and easy access to Dolly Sods. We enjoyed all of the amenities to enjoy the indoor and outdoor spaces: fire pit, corn hole, fireplace, foosball , darts, and hot tub! "

"Nice clean place. Large bathroom. But bedroom was small. Kitchen had all the things we needed. Needs some maintenance. Gate on deck broken and deck needs repainted. Chair in living room broken. Noisy as there was construction going on next door. But over all, it was a good stay. "

"The home had EVERYTHING we needed. Beautiful view from the deck and tastefully decorated. Owners top notch. We loved everything about this home and location. Biked on trails, Blackwater falls was breathtaking. Hiking and just sitting around the fire pit enjoying nature and all the fall colors. Hope to return next fall. "

"The Fox Den was a nice short walk to downtown Thomas, which although not big, has what you need to grab morning coffee, lunch and music/drinks in the evening. Despite being on the main road, the Fox Den was very quiet and easy to get in and out of."
