"This a beautiful place. The view is stunning…even prettier at night. We were there for the 4th of July and the fireworks all over the lake were gorgeous.There was a water main break down on the main road and our host kept us informed of any updates. There were plenty of stores to get bottled water and alll the locals were really friendly and accommodating. Went horseback riding at Brasstown Resort and kayaking on Lake Chatuge. Our only *oof* was the condition of the driveway after what I imagine...

Very clean, well stocked (thanks for so many towels!), hot tub is very nice. Perfect location as it’s close to hiking spots, short drive to Helen and in to Hiawassee. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Since I was the only one staying in this 3br, 2ba house, my review is based on the rooms/spaces I used. The house is older but there are signs the owners are updating it as the kitchen and main bathroom have been renovated. The 2nd bathroom is in an unusual location; you have to walk through the kitchen and laundry room to get to it and it has a walk-in tub; might present a privacy issue for some. I did not prepare any meals; used microwave to reheat restaurant leftovers and to nuke a couple...

"The house was great, plenty of room for everyone. My only suggestions would be ceiling fans in the bedrooms or at least a small box type fan. It got a little warm. "

"We have been in need of a family getaway for a while and this was perfect. It was quiet and the fenced in yard meant we could bring our dogs with us. We were able to experience the mountains, Helen, and get some family time. The cabin was very clean and we had everything we needed. I also liked that the kids had their own space downstairs where they could play but us adults were able to relax in peace upstairs. We would love to rent it again."
