"Me and my family enjoyed our stay at The Blue Heron Bungalow, the location and the amenities of the home were perfect. Communication with the owner was prompt and the checkin process was simple. We really enjoyed hanging out on the dock and floating in the lake near the dock. We will definitely be back. "

"Overall a great place to stay. We are a family of 5 and we had plenty of room in the cabin. The kids loved all of the campground amenities. We were only 15 minutes from the zoo. The only issue I run into was check-in. I feel like that process needs to be better explained in the welcome message. Great stay, would stay there again. "

Well equipped kitchen (ceramic coated pans and not teflon [yay]; great set of knives and other kitchen ware; toaster oven, microwave, full stove/oven, full size fridge/freezer). "I can’t say enough of how amazing this trip was for me. I booked this house for my daughter’s birthday because she asked to go to the lake for her birthday present. The owners were wonderful and kept an open line of communication and frequently checked if we needed anything and how they could make our stay better. "I had the wrong door code. But I was able to reach Ms Bernadine whom was out of town at the time. She was able to let me and my family in from where she was. The house was just as described in a quiet neighborhood. This was my 2nd time there, and next time in the area.This will be our go to home away from home. Thanks again. "

"Everything is as advertised! We appreciated access to water activities and really enjoyed the kayaks and the awesome screened in porch overlooking the lake. It was a great vacay for our furry family, too, as a dog-friendly property. Rikky was super helpful and communicative and we look forward to a future stay!"

"The house was very well decorated and furnished. My only complaint was there were no check out instructions. There are actually more amenities than listed on the listing. There is a kitchen and hot tub that were not mentioned or pictured. The lake views and cleanliness were outstanding."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and peaceful A-frame home located about 30 minutes east of Charlotte in the Cabarrus County area. "We were in town for a soccer tournament for my son, The house was in a great location for us having to travel to 2 different field locations. "Ok so this listing is advertised as being “in the downtown area” so you would assume it to be in a nice neighborhood. But it is not. The neighborhood is full of boarded up houses and vagrant people just walking around constantly. Also the host advertised that this location slept 3 people and had a “pull out bed” in the living room sofa, neither were true no extra bedding for the 3rd guest he slept with no cover.
