"This property has a lot of character and amazing views. It’s not a new or fancy place but it was clean and it’s a great location. We were checked in by Kathy who was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor and had a lovely balcony with a small table and two chairs. We really enjoyed sitting out there and looking at the river, bridge and downtown. The room was okay, the only negative was that the sheets were old and had “pills” of material. During the night of our stay...

"This hotel was great! The self check-in made getting to our room super easy. Our room was spacious and clean. Convenient location within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on Main street. Not to mention the interesting history of the building itself. We loved it!"

"I feel this room was overpriced for what the condition of the room was.,Just an o.k place to stay. Rooms was dated with with chipped furniture , scruffed table, door and trim edges, etc. The swivel chair in the room was wobbly and hard to sit on. Room smelled musty and took awhile for the air conditioner to get the room to a comfortable level. If you want just a place to sleep and can get past the issues, it's an o.k place to stay."

"The property was historic. Loved the charm. The bed was very nice and we slept well. Small town Indiana at its best. Sauerkraut balls at the Bier Garden were great and we enjoyed the live music. Thanks for a great weekend with no kids."

"We loved this property and Madison in general! The host was quick to respond to communications and gave great recommendations of things to try in town. The room was clean and well-stocked. The location was great for walking if you don’t mind about 10-20 minutes to get to places (the historic homes make the walk absolutely worth it!). Overall, we’ll be happy to stay here again!"

"Cute little home very close to town very close to Clifty Falls -nice place to bring your doggies -trail to walk down tight out your front door. The little place was so clean and so warm and inviting pretty much had everything we needed -loved sitting on the deck love watching wildlife and nearby Downtown Main St is so close. We will stay here again. "
