"My husband and I stayed at Chautauqua with our 4 and 1 year old. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the complementary breakfast was very good, and the close walk to the beach and pool made our stay so fun. "We were going to arrive after the office closed for the evening. We called and the young lady at the desk was very helpful. She said she would leave our key under the mat in front of our door. Sure enough it was there when we finally arrived. Parking was excellent and the view from the room was fantastic."

"We were very comfortable in our little cottage, except for the bathroom ceiling. My son is 6’2” and only had a couple inches of space between his head and the ceiling. The beds are comfy; the coffee pot, microwave and fridge work well. The outdoor spaces for dogs and the picnic tables are nice. Love the tiled bathroom, lighting, and window coverings. The little restaurant has great food. We’re definitely going to return!"

"Our family stayed here on a trip to Long Beach. Previously we had stayed at VRBOs, campsites, and other hotels in the area, as the Fireside Inn was not built when we last visited. "The staff was super helpful, considering one bed was broke, ( they knew it and rented the room anyway) and the door locks wouldn't work. Someone did come very fast to get a key from the office to let us in at 8pm. Unfortunately they couldn't get in the office (same lock issue) and a 2nd person came with a key to the office to get us a key to the room. NOTE. keyless entry may not work well with a west facing door on a HOT evening."

"Went to have a nice trip to Long Beach WA to some condo rentals we have stayed at before this condo was 3rd floor the room we got the back door to the deck won't lock it was of adjustment I reported to the office before going to town for a couple hours when we returned it was not repaired I went to the office to ask why she she its been reported as your on the 3rd floor not a priority I asked for tools and I was able to fix as my wife was not comfortable in a non locking room believe it or not...

"Beautiful place to stay! The units in the big shared building are lovely, with cute decor, quick access to the beach trail, and really comfy beds. The kitchen had a full size fridge and stove/oven, and even a dishwasher. It was equipped with pots, pans, utensils and flatware, as well as coffee and salt/pepper. The back part of this property where the shared building is feels so peaceful and quiet. We loved our stay and hope to be back one day!"

"It’s a very unique old hotel dating back to 1896. The architecture has not been updated but keeps a funky charm. Reused old wood furniture, old tub with an attached shower. Pub on site. Sauna and garden to relax. A pool table and board games. Fire place in the lounge area. Victoria was awesome. Loved it and would stay there again but not like a modern hotel."

"I absolutely loved my stay at the Moby Dick! I really appreciated the old-time charm and cozy, nostalgic feel. The grounds and surrounding scenery are absolutely beautiful, making it a peaceful place to slow down and enjoy the coast. What makes it even more special is knowing that staying here helps support marine research. That alone makes me even more excited to come back. "It's excellent resort with outdoor pool and hot tub in the patio. The rooms are actually condos with full scale kitchen with equipment and all stuff, required for the cooking. Gas fireplace, bedrooms and bathrooms. Access to the beach for the people and cars; nice trails. Lighthouses and other landmarks just 15-20 minutes driving. The best for retreat with family."
