"From the pictures, the house appeared older but clean, which I was fine with. However, when I arrived, the experience was quite different. The first sign was when I used a washcloth and noticed makeup stains still on it.The final straw was when I took a shower and grabbed a towel, only to find it was dirty. "I loved every minute I spent at this cabin. It's quiet and quite private, a touch of the farm, but well lit and safe. Loved sitting on the patio, grilling, and watching the birds over the pond. Comfortable bed, great comfy chair by the window, fine little kitchen, and bathroom with many nice touches. "

"This was the perfect spot to meet up with friends for a weekend away. It was spacious inside, with plenty of room for kids to play and everyone to sleep comfortably. We loved the remote location. The kids enjoyed running around outside and seeing the deer in the field in the evenings. We will definitely consider coming back for another weekend get away with our friends in the future! "

"I was so happy with my experience at Richard and Kimma’s home. The hosts were friendly and responsive from the time of booking through the end of my stay. When I arrived, I was given a plate of homemade cookies along with the key and a tour of the house. I was spending the week at the Willa Cather conference in Red Cloud, which was a quick 20-25 min drive away, very easy to get to. "We had a pleasant stay here during our week in Red Cloud. The interior is fresh and modern. "Perfect little apartment, charming decor and thoughtful amenities. Perfect for when I'm traveling alone. Red Cloud still has some cobblestone streets and many of the downtown properties are being renovated. Grain trucks can be a little loud during harvest, but I slept well. Got up early to catch the sunrise on the Willa Cather Prairie. "
