"We stayed at the sure stay 4 nights while we explored the New River Gorge and Monongahela forest. Location was about 30 mins or so from the gorge, but a lot of close by state parks and beautiful scenery to access easily. Hotel is right by the beautiful Summersville lake as well. Hotel is small, quaint. A little outdated on the outside. But the rooms were nice and clean. We stayed in the king size bed room and bed was super comfy and offered a good night's sleep. "The pool was closed on June 19th. Requested 2 rooms side by side. 1 room infested with tiny ants. It took over an hour to get another room. It was the entire length of the motel from the 2nd room. At 8:00 am the lady started clearing breakfast and the coffee was empty.. Not a good experience."

"What a great hostel!! The building is so great with wonderful architectural touches. Grounds are beautiful with picnic tables and a fire pit area. We stayed in the Cloud suite - which was the entire 3rd floor with private bath and kitchenette. Very spacious and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!"
