"If you cannot do stairs easily, make sure they are able to give you a room on the first floor. There's a lengthy flight of stairs to the second floor. My room smelled terrible. I don't know if guests are being allowed to smoke in rooms or in the hallways, or if there are pets that are allowed to stay in rooms and then proper clean-up doesn't happen. "An excellent choice for a getaway with family. The outdoor amenities were exceptional, from the fire pit to the pool and spas, seating areas, and relaxing in nature. The location was perfect for easy access to beautiful Shades State Park. The kitchen was small for 10 people but adequately stocked. "All went well with our stay. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Lots of animals on the property, adding to the experience. Good country location about a 15 minute drive from the Lafayette or Attica IN area. Dog friendly is a bonus."
