"Our family contacted scabies at this property. My husband was immediately affected and we first thought it was poison ivy from a hike. This spread all over his body, to our children and to me requiring 8 trips to the doctor, prednisone for 3 family members before it was diagnosed as scabies. My husband and I both missed work and income from the outbreak. The property management said they would take it seriously and get back to us. They did not respond to our repeated messages. Do not stay here....

"Cute cabin. Very nice & clean. The WiFi would not work so we couldn’t watch tv or stream our phones bc of no WiFi so that was a bummer. The key entry process wasn’t easy. The key lock would not work but we somehow managed to get the key pad on the door to work. It was pretty cold inside so considering it was 30* outside. Bathroom would never really heat up and we stayed kind of chilly with only a window type heat unit for the whole cabin. The driveway was covered in leaves so at one point we...

"This was a beautifully decorated little cabin. The bed was super comfortable, and the furnishings were in the farmhouse cabin style. Everything appeared to be brand new including the hair dryer the kitchen appliances the dishes and cutlery. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay with our two little dogs while visiting Mount Sterling over Thanksgiving 2025. The only negative comment I could possibly make is regarding the road. "The house was great, however hostess communication was extremely delayed and at times unresponsive. For example, we tripped a circuit and messaged host, per their instructions, for the location of the breaker. Host never responded to help and the issue was NOT address, yet an auto checkout message (seemed scheduled) was sent on day of checkout. In addition leading up to our stay our questions went unanswered for days. When you are organizing a stay for a large group prompt communication is key...

"This was absolutely the nicest cabin we have stayed in. It was spotless, the amenities were limitless and the location/view was awesome. The cabin was decorated for Christmas and it was beautifully done, so much so that we found ourselves walking from room to room taking it all in. "Wonderful stay! The cabin was the perfect size for my family of four plus our golden retriever. The place was clean and cozy and the details in the decor set the stage for an all around comfortable experience! The location of the cabin is just the right amount of secluded yet still convenient. The beds were lovely, the views were incredible, and the host was easily available for contact. We will return! "
