"Nothing to like. We were shocked to see we had booked a secluded motel that was in rough shape. The new management is working on the property and trying to improve it but they have a long way to go. Rooms were very small with oversized desk. TV box hanging from back of TV. Small cubby for fold up bed with insufficient bedding. Had to keep asking for towels which were thin and old. "My wife and I were amazed and absolutely overwhelmed by the hospitable nature of this home! We could not have felt more welcome! In addition, the size of this vacation rental was more than enough for us. In fact, we have family living in Alturas and visit them from Denver at least twice a year!
