"We lived our room bed was comfortable Sheets soft. Loved the set up of the King with sofa bed. Loved the breakfast. The fresh ground coffee was delicious. The staff was great. Easiest check in ever. "

"We spent the weekend at Mammoth Caves (about 25-30 mins away) and this was the perfect spot for us to spend our nights. The host made check-in and check-out a breeze and everything we needed to be comfortable was there.One thing differs from the pictures is they have now installed a full sized stove/oven to replace the hotplate and toaster oven. We had a great time and plan to comeback and finish exploring the area in the near future. I would fully recommend checking this location out if you are...

"Had a wonderful stay. Clean, cozy, quiet, comfortable. Great firepit area too! Since we were busy during the day, we were tired and did not utilize the fire pit like we wanted to. Great location to everything in the area. We would stay here again."

"This is a a great little landing spot after sight-seeing during the day. It’s close to Mammoth Cave, has a great little cave to explore right across the street, and is less than 2 hours from Nashville. The apartment is super clean, fun, and perfectly sized/laid out for a family of 4. Our kids loved the music theme! Jay was also super responsive and a great host! "

"We had a great stay, the shack on shortcut is a very cute and cozy place. This is on the owners property and a working farm. Neither bothered us but just a heads up. I also did not realize from the photos that the living area and recreation area are separate rooms which was nice. The bathroom is in the rec room with a step up into it. We were able to enjoy quiet evenings playing games and watching movies. We also spent time in the rec room and at the fire pit. If we are in the area again we...

"Our stay was amazing! Crystal was super responsive at any time! The animals loved the attention! Waking up at 7 in the morning to the horses pretty much at the back door waiting for you was awesome! Duke and Sally the dogs were so sweet and hung out with us whenever we were there. We will definitely return with our kids. This was our anniversary/husbands birthday stay! I will also recommend this to any of my family and friends who are coming to cave city as well! "

"Quaint rustic cabin setting was very comfortable for my family. We gathered from two other states and met with family from Edmonton to enjoy Thanksgiving. The cabin was the perfect size for us to gather and cook a large meal. We enjoyed our stay!!"

"We actually stayed in a different vrbo by this owner because the original house need unforeseen repairs just weeks before our arrival. The owner was great to accommodate. The house we stayed at is old (typical in the area) but it was clean and didn't smell old at all. Typically in old houses it can be dusty and the linens have an odd smell but not this house. We could tell the owner took care of the place."

"Property is exactly as described - charming little place with an exquisitely comfy bed, a small shower stall in the bathroom, and a little kitchenette. We didn’t spend a lot of time there since we were in town specifically for a festival at Barren River Magic, but it suited our needs perfectly. We would definitely stay there again, and would hopefully get to see the cows next time!"

"Cute little 3 bedroom room house that is very close to mammoth cave. Even a cave in downtown (less than a mile). Quiet neighborhood. Clean and simple home for the week."

"We brought some of our family down for a fall break vaca… GREAT property! So cute and homey, fun upstairs for the grandkids area, 2 separate gathering rooms so adults could talk and laugh together apart from the kids playing. It was also good to have laundry facilities:) Very fun!"

"This home and property were very peaceful. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have had as far as cooking accessories, dishes and utensils are concerned. The porch swing took me back to sitting on my grandparent's swing. Now I'm the one watching the kids play. There were 11 of us, which should be a lot for one house, but I was always able to find a quiet spot to sneak in a nap. Kelly was a wonderful hostess and ready to answer my never ending questions. "This home was finished in 1903 and is amazing to see. It is being slowly refurbished and will truly be lovely when all is done. Our room was great and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom as large and had the latest in shower heads. Breakfast was nice and you have area outside to sit in the evening if you like."
