"What an amazing spot! I’d you’re looking for a quiet spot in the trees, look no further. Christian was responsive and helpful. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding mountains, the bbq, a campfire, and a movie on the big screen tv when it rained. We will definitely be back!"

"Extended family of 13 stayed for over Labor Day weekend and we had a wonderful time. The views are STUNNING and with two levels of wrap around porches you almost feel as though you’re in a treehouse Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and one lovely rainbow, wildlife sightings daily, and total peace and serenity. Comfy beds, plenty of seating for large groups. We spent most of our time in the cabin together, but Pipestem State Park is just down the road and the cabin is only about 20 minutes to...

"Fun stay. Great New River location. "

"Great spot on River. Nice hole in front of house for swimming and fishing. Caught several small mouth bass. Very private, really enjoyed seating on porch and around fire pit listening to river. Seen bald eagle on our last morning. Would for sure go there again. Host was great, communication was great and had no problems during our stay. "

"What a gem! The cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Breakfast on the porch…our dog loved to swim in the creek, and the house was comfortable with everything we needed! Thank you for a perfect weekend!"

"This was our 2nd time in 2 years staying here. We felt right at home both times. The owners make sure everything is very clean and in working order. Grocery store within a very easy walk if you don’t want to drive. We love log homes and this one is quaint and very nice. Enjoy your stay here."

"The cottage was beautiful and clean with easy access to the river. This is the perfect getaway spot for a couple that enjoys the outdoors. John was easy to communicate with and worked us into his schedule for a last mintue guided fishing trip. "

"This is the second time that we have stayed at this property and strongly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet country get away! The property is a beautiful, well-kept farmhouse completely stocked with all amenities that we needed. In addition to the house itself our family, including our Labrador Retriever, enjoyed the beautiful farm scenery with grazing cattle. We were even treated to the arrival of a new-born calf during our stay."

"It is so beautiful here and super close to Tech! We really enjoyed the property, the location, and the outdoor area to hang out was perfect with the fire pit, horses, and tables! We really enjoyed ourselves!"

"The cabin was beautiful. clean, nicely appointed and very comfortable. The owner was responsive and gracious. Bonus, we were only 1/4 mile from Pipestem State Park. We would recommend this property for anyone traveling to the area. "

"No Check in as 21:30 h do dia 16/07 não foi tão bom, estamos exaustos e aguardamos 15 minutos na recepção, pq o pessoal estava na parte de traz batendo papo . Mas no dia seguinte tudo compensou , maravilhoso , o rapaz da loja de produtos Durty dancing, foi incrível , deixei todas as minhas diletas lá kkkk comprei muito , 500,00 dollares com muito gosto. Não teve como segurar as lágrimas de emoção, aquilo era um sonho realizado . O lago não tem mais, mas tudo vale a pena , O café da manhã maravilhoso, eu comi muito pouco , sou vegetariana e pra mim nsl tinha quase opção , a não ser algumas frutas e omelete com vegetais. Atendimento maravilhoso no restaurante . Super recomendo , e quem for super fã como eu, certeza que irá se emocionar . Bom passeio, aproveite o máximo Ah não vá no inverno, muita subida, serração, neblina e neve , local difícil pata essa época. Bom passeio , curtam muito Obrigada a todos do Montain Lake Lodge , eu amei 🙏❤️"
