"This is a lovely quiet property on the water. It was the best supplied property I’ve ever stayed in with food in the cupboard and fridge and bath room toiletries, even an extra toothbrush. (Good thing because I forgot mine.) There’s plenty of room to spread out and even a pool table. Highly recommended for your next trip to this wonderful little corner of the world. "

We had never been to the area but chose it mainly for the water views, access to fishing, kayaking, the private beach and wanted a relaxing week and we had that and more. Literally everything you need is here -comfy beds, all the linens and fully stocked kitchen. It's an older home but has so much charm, so many thoughtful touches including a cabinet full of books, movies and puzzles, a shed with bikes, kayaks, chairs, crab...

"This was a perfect little getaway spot, 5 minutes from the beach. Mathews is a great little town with fantastic restaurants and people. The home has everything you need and the owner responds quickly to questions. She also owns/operates the Chinese restaurant in town about two minutes away. We tried that as well and it was wonderful! Would definitely recommend both the VRBO home and the restaurant. :)"

The house and property has all the amenities you could hope for; hot tub, community pool, beach and more. We loved spending time together in the backyard and watching the fish jump as the sun set.
