"Great host and never bothered us while we were there"

"We really enjoyed our stay on Lake Hartwell. The home was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Drinking our coffee in the morning on the boat dock, watching the sun rise and the fish jump was a wonderful way to start the day. Great location between Greenville and Atlanta with easy access to the upcountry. Peter was very prompt with communications and very accommodating with check-in and check-out times. We would highly recommend his cottage on the lake!"

"Perfect location for my quick overnight. Know Athens well as previous resident. Great privacy, location a quick walk or uber and snap you’re downtown/Sanford Stadium. Super easy to find, you feel like you’re in the woods with all the evergreens/green vegetation. Clean, equipped with what you need for overnight or longer stay. Location awesome for college campus/downtown you name it."

"Nice, quiet, comfortable log cabin style mobile home on the water. We enjoyed a quiet weekend hanging out and exploring downtown Hartwell."

"We had a great stay at the lake! Location was beautiful and nice to have access to the dock and kayaks. Kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the outside fire ring one evening. Being able to bring our pets was a plus too!"

"It was great! The house was beautiful and so was the area surrounding the house. There was a lot of entertaining things to do whether you want to hang out at the lake, play pool, cards or watch a movie. It was very clean and comfortable. We definitely would like to come back again."

"Property is excellent, incredibly clean and had every amenity we needed. Location is terrific and is lakefront and close to 85 so easy to get wherever you need but also private. Management is absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great visit. 10/10. "

"My family was celebrating our Dad’s 77th birthday. We needed a home that would be large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. This was the perfect place. It had PLENTY of seating in the main living/dining area, as well as, the outdoor patio area. The kids loved having a room big enough that could hold all their cousins for a big sleepover. The game room was also a hit and the pool was the cherry on top. Plus the beautiful lake view. My father and stepmom both have mobility issues so...

"Cute cabin with one bedroom and a loft bed. Beautiful grounds with a nice pool. The dock on the lake is a perfect spot to fish. Staff was very friendly and checked on us throughout our 3 day stay. We will definitely visit again!"

"This is one of the few properties where the listing doesn’t do it justice. It feels like you’re the only ones on the lake. Everything in the house is functional. It feels like someone’s home, not a short term rental. The hosts also went the extra mile to make sure our stay was magical. "
