"It’s a cute cabin which feels recently renovated. We cooked all our meals there using the well-appointed kitchen and outdoor grill. Our kids loved the hot tub. My daughter and I did a beautiful multi hour kayaking trip around the lake. It was a good family getaway. We used the house as a base to do a white water rafting trip on the Chattooga river, about a 45 minute drive away. It’s a stunning trip which we highly recommend!"

"Very beautiful property the lawn was very clean and tidy. easy access to the lake. The location isn’t far off from the downtown area which was very neat. There is also a small stand that sells eggs, honey, etc as soon as you turn on to tom Cobb all local and fresh. The trip all together was perfect and 10/10 would recommend staying here!! Ps do watch for deer/wildlife my sister in law hit one maybe a mile from property. "

"We really enjoyed this property! It was very clean and well equipped. The furniture and beds are very comfortable with plenty of extra sheets and blankets available. The back deck is large and great for grilling out, plus the little fire pit area was nice too! Don’t worry about being hot because the HVAC system is massive you will stay plenty cool! If you like to sleep with fans I would suggest bringing some as I didn’t see any. On the dock you will find a big chest full of floats and other...

"Perfect location for my quick overnight. Know Athens well as previous resident. Great privacy, location a quick walk or uber and snap you’re downtown/Sanford Stadium. Super easy to find, you feel like you’re in the woods with all the evergreens/green vegetation. Clean, equipped with what you need for overnight or longer stay. Location awesome for college campus/downtown you name it."

It is also by far the largest pool we have had in a VRBO rental and my family really enjoyed it. Kevin was also very helpful and responsive and we appreciated his insights into some of the good restaurants nearby. The only minor comment that I would have is that there are no hand rails on any of the staircases in...

"From the moment we walked onto the property until we closed the front door and left, it was a pleasurable vacation. The house, pool area and grounds were even more spectacular than the pictures. The owners were very friendly, and we will definitely be staying at this location again. The entire family was very pleased with everything. The owners even took us on a private excursion. it was amazing!"
