"The house was perfect and so beautifully decorated! I have never stayed somewhere that looked exactly like the pictures online. I literally pulled up some of the pics to compare. "So easy to check-in and out. Beautiful home and yard. In a very peaceful neighborhood. So much better than staying in a motel alongside the interstate where you can’t sleep because of the noise of the traffic all night long. Comfortable bed. Well-maintained and very comfortable."

"The Blue House is better than described or photos can show. The property was very quiet and so very peaceful. We greatly enjoyed the back porch and swing. The arcade games and massage chair was definitely an added bonus. You won’t be disappointed at The Blue House. "

"If you are looking for a place to relax and watch the river flow by, this is the place to go. This place could use a little TLC, but don’t let that deter you. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The place was well stocked and check in and out was easy. The owner sent us a message the day we checked in telling us to be careful going down the ramp to the dock due to river being low which made it real steep, which was nice of them. "We could not say enough good things about this vacation home! 5 stars!! Well kept, beautifully decorated, very well stocked for your every need. Beds were very comfortable and everything was spotless. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had and made sure we had the best stay possible. Took the kids to Wild Adventures Theme Park for two days and this was just about a 15 min drive to the park. We are saving this listing and we will definitely come back again!!"

"Easy check in. Host was very nice to work with. The sliding bedroom doors lifted out at the bottom, hard to contain pets or children. Owner was understanding and said she’d work on a fix for that. Other than that very quaint, historic house, clearly loved by the owner."

"The history of the place made our stay even better. Got to see some military jets fly over and even caught some fish in the lake. We will book again. "

"A quiet and convenient place to stay for a nearby event. Furnishings are simple but certainly adequate for one or two persons. Bed is comfortable. Live Oak is very close by if you need a town. Cooking is limited to a hot plate or pizza oven, so would have liked to have a microwave. Altogether a nice place and an enjoyable stay. Thanks."
