"My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us and 2 dogs. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen and living room is large, plus the back deck is beautiful. I could tell from the pictures and actually seeing the house that this property suffered damage from the hurricane in 2024. "The location for this rental was perfect. My father and I stayed here for a 4 day fishing trip and enjoyed it immensely. House was very clean and had great AC, but kitchen can be scarce so if you decide to do a lot of cooking I would bring what you need. The woods surrounding the property are gorgeous, I always enjoyed the walk down to the dock. I would note its a bit steep and some of the steps are loose so be careful. The dock is covered, all aluminum, and has power avalaible which made it...

"Very nice house. Plenty of room. Great location for a fishing trip. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Great property. Didn't realize the listing was for a basement turned apartment set up, with the host upstairs. The listing could perhaps be more direct with that detail, but it wasn't a problem, just surprising. Otherwise, exactly as listed. Clean, comfortable and a good location. "

"The Peacock Mansion is a beautiful place. The pool and the grounds are beautiful. The house is a little dated and could use some upgrades and recaulking in some places. The rug on the stairs needs cleaning or removal they were dirty. The fees were quite high for the accommodations. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the stay. "

"Plenty of room for a family with a lot to do at the house. Had an absolute great time. "

"Listing is as described. Hosts were very responsive and helpful in making sure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay. "

"We were very impressed with the beautiful wraparound porch and spent most of our time there overlooking the lake. Beautiful property that was even prettier than advertised. Great to have ready access to our boat with the private dock. Five stars all around!"
