The home was cozy and well-equipped, and the added bonus of paddle boards and kayaks made it perfect for our kids—they were entertained for hours right on the water. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway!"

"My girlfriends and myself spent 4 days at this cottage. It was very very nice and clean. Everything worked out perfectly for us 4 senior ladies. I highly recommend this cozy cottage for a getaway. The owner Joan was very accommodating and even stopped by to see if everything was good. "

"We had a wonderful week long stay at the Boathouse on Evans Lake. We had 18 people from ages 12 to 82. The owner, Bill, is great! He was very friendly and helpful. He had called me a couple days before our stay to tell me that we wouldn’t be able to bring our boats because there was an issue with the boat launch. "Most VRBO pictures look much better than the actual setting but we were shocked to find that the photos were unable to capture the quality of this beauty. Check-in was a breeze with code entry. Kitchen stocked for a chef. The photos of snacks & coffees are real! Even creamers were available. There were many nice towels for your bathroom shower. A sweet sun room with sliders so you can enjoy a breeze on sunrise & moonrise. The beach is walkable & not crowded. Total relaxation. "

"We had a wonderful stay! Communication with the host was excellent—responsive, clear, and helpful throughout. The home itself was cozy and welcoming, with everything we needed to feel comfortable. "This was a wonderful place to vacation with young children. The house is very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of entertainment inside and outside, for all weather conditions. Not pictured is a walk-in closet in the upstairs queen bedroom, which can fit a pack n play. Pack n play could also fit in the upstairs laundry room. This would be a great vacation for grandparents and a family with young children. My kids loved swimming at the beach and jumping off the pontoon in the middle of the lake....

"This was a cute cabin. It's small, but it was just me and my dog, so it worked well. The bathroom situation was exactly as advertised but not as bad as I thought it would be. The tub was adorable.If you plan to cook, bring cold items or things you can microwave. That worked the best, although there is a stovetop and an air fryer.The best part of the cabin was the deck. It was in the shade, overlooked the river, had a lovely hot tub, and had gates you could close so your dog doesn't wander. ...
