"This place has a great location with a large yard surrounded by woods . It is on a gravel road off 33 but very close to Moulton downtown. It is a new cabin with unique setup with washer that dries , a convection oven with a cooktop . A lot packed into a small space. Concrete floor with rugs that might not be such a great idea with dogs. I rolled them all up before bringing in the dogs(service dog training). Lots of hiking nearby in Bankhead Forest and Sipsey River area. We didn't get to enjoy...

"I didn’t see a single bug in or outside. It smells amazing in the rooms. The quality of the rooms was fantastic. Cleanliness 10/10 (No Notes) No trash in or around the property. The staff was super friendly. my dog felt safe I felt safe. I had to take my dog out to use it at 2am and I felt very safe walking around. "

"The property manager was very friendly. Checkin was easy The workers at the Lake store/Park Office were all friendly & knowledgeable of area. The employees at the swimming pool were attentive & very friendly & we enjoyed very much. There was a basketball, pickle ball/tennis court, putt-putt golf. "We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect — close to everything we needed, yet quiet and relaxing. The home was spotless, thoughtfully laid out, and ideal for the two of us. The owners were excellent to work with — responsive, kind, and made everything seamless. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Our family just recently visited the Secret Slough. It was the secluded retreat that we hoped it would be. Very, very private! We thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming entrance with the sound of the waterfall as we arrived to the house. The house is very spacious and suited our family perfectly. "This was such a wonderful home to stay in my family for a long weekend. We were all so very impressed with everything in this house! The provisions they shared with us were such an added touch. My college niece and her boyfriend loved the variety of records provided. It was walkable to everything downtown in Florence and that was perfect for all that we were wanting to do. We will definitely have to stay there again!"
