"Lisa's property was perfect for a winter weekend away from the city. The river was running and beautiful to sit next to, and we used the outdoor firepit and indoor fireplace to make everything really cosy.The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen completely equipped for any kind of cooking we wanted to do. "

"This was a great place to kick back and relax with family. Had a wonderful bbq, great views of the water and comfy beds. Just make sure you bring water shoes as it is rocky but so much fun walking out in the shallow water exploring. "

"The property was as described, located conveniently in downtown Perth. Shops, restaurants, and surrounding area was easily accessible by foot, and everything else was no more than a 5-min drive. Communication with our host was fast and efficient. She was always available to address any questions or concerns. I recommend this property and host for your stay if you are planning a trip to visit Perth."

"Potato island was absolutely perfect for our family, and we had a fun, relaxing week long stay. The cottage is older..rustic but very clean and had everything needed for prepping food. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and we felt so mentally refreshed. The kids swam every day rain or shine, we went canoeing, read books, sat around the camp fire, played games, and the dogs had a blast running around the island. As an owner of three small dogs, this was a huge stress...

"the property was beautiful and there's so much space to lounge around. Lots of activities to do in the water is provided. Super quick communication and accommodating for our stay. Everything was clean. Would definitely stay again!"

"Very clean and organized amenities. Great location to the Calabogie Highlands Golf Course (backs on to the first hole) and Calabogie Motorsports Park. Host/property manager was super regarding questions and very responsive. Loved our weekend stay!"

"We were in town for my brothers wedding and this place worked wonderfully! 8 of us stayed here and we were all very comfortable and there was lots to do to keep us busy! Highly recommend this property for your next big family vacation! "

"This house was very nice to stay at. It's in a new area, so there were houses still under construction, driveways not yet paved (which meant dusty cars) etc. There was one space to park a car in the drive and we parked our second car on the street. Inside, everything looked pretty new with only a little bit of wear and tear on some of the cupboards in the kitchen. On the plus side...the house was very clean and a good space for our group of 4.The living room and kitchen area worked well and...

"My family had a great weekend stay at the cottage. Overall the cottage was stocked and setup with everything we needed (with the exception of shampoo which I thought the ad stated was provided - I only found a few bars of soap). The beds and linens are crazy comfortable! The large sofa in the living room is perfect for large groups. We had a boat with us so the dock was amazing to have! Overall a great stay! A few details of the cottage are getting a little well used and will need updating...

"Online information false/misleading and the property is completely unsuitable for anyone with even minor mobility issues. I was booked for two nights but left after one and went to a motel. - notwithstanding what the website advertises, this cabin does NOT have a bathroom. A bathroom is available in the main house, 50 or so meters away. It is not separate from the host's living space (i.e. not private). To use the bathroom at night, you will need a flashlight (and an umbrella anytime it's...

"Cottage was amazing - very well maintained, "traditional" feel to it (original fittings, kitchen etc.). Front screened porch was our favourite place to relax, with an excellent view of the lake. New dock was a great place for morning coffee, and bbq on the side deck with a lake view was also a nice touch. Views from nearly all windows, including master bedroom. Host Erika was very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone for a cozy lake-side stay."
