"The resort layout provided great privacy and quiet surroundings. I greatly appreciated the self-check-in/out to the cabin. The cabins and Tee-Pee area shared one shower/restroom area that required an unlock code to use and a $3 deposit for shower use much like a State Park facility. The benefit is the privacy and cleanliness in using the shower/restroom arrangement. The host was great: available and accommodating!! I will contact the resort again for a longer stay in September. "Fabulous location if you want to explore the big trees in and around Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park.The cabin was immaculate. Quite simple but tasteful decor. Bed was very comfortable, not too firm or soft. Bare minimum in way of cooking/serving utensils, because space is so limited. We travel w/ some kitchen gear so we did prepare a few simple meals. If we could change anything we'd add a corkscrew and a couple wine glasses .We will stay here again! "

"Best rental house on the Smith River! This was our 3rd or 4th time here and it's still our favorite rental house ever. Fully stocked with every possible thing you might need. The hosts are great and very helpful and the location is unique in that is has the best access of any rental house on the Smith River.
