The hosts were very responsive and left instructions that made it easy to use amenities and check out without issues. We were able to use ride share to get back and forth from downtown state college. The property and location were beautiful and peaceful. Definitely will stay again!"

"We took a group of high school students for a fly fishing trip. The property was perfect for the group. They fished on the pond, played soccer, made s’mores, and played ghost in the graveyard. We would come back!"

"Beautiful views of the mountains and lake from the house. Lots of space for everyone, we weren't tripping over each other. We cooked in a few times and loved the spacious kitchen. We were left two empty propane tanks for the outside grill. Not what you want to find when your about to start cooking dinner, but went and exchanged one for a full one. Hot tub was relaxing and very clean. Couldn't get over how many eagles that few past the lake side of the house to check on us. Overall a super...

"We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed at Serendipity, a unique area in the back of the camp so we had a lot of privacy. I was skeptical of the "tabins" because not the best pictures online but was pleasantly content when we got here. They were spacious enough to accommodate and the beds were fine. It's not the cleanest, but as long as you bring a sheet and/or sleeping bag to place on top of the mattress it was quite comfortable. "This was the second time we stayed at Herons Cove and it was another great experience. The house is so nice inside but the outside setup is even better. The fire pit, outside deck and patio, and sport court were fun places to hang out with friends. Chris is a great host and made sure everything was right for our stay. We will be back again. "
