"The hotel is historic and interesting but very very dated. Part of the hotel is blocked off for construction. We were waiting for the elevator and the construction crew on the other side of the plastic was very loud and there was language unsuitable for children. The hot tub is outside, so not usable in cold weather. "

"For an establishment that calls itself a resort it was horrible. We showed up earlier than check in time to verify the reservation and when we showed up to check in we had to wait 20 minutes. They should have had our room ready. Additionally there were zero amenities in the room. Nothing in the bathroom for showering, and not even an ice bucket. No refrigerator, no microwave, and the hallway on the 3rd floor leaked as it rained. I would advise people to avoid this place and book elsewhere....

"Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff initially seemed helpful. After we unpacked and showered, we realized the TV in our room wasn’t working. The next morning we were woken up by the front desk asking to come check the TV, which was frustrating.
