"Extremely clean room!"

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Just due to the location and places I have stayed near here in the past, my expectations were low. However, the place was clean inside and out. The room was comfortable. There was a dehumidifier or air purifier in the room that was a little noisy, but helped keep the room cool and smelling nice. "Very laid back and quiet property. Beds and linens were excellent - extremely comfortable. Great having covered parking at our room. Entire cottage very clean. Couldn’t adjust ceiling fan speed in one bedroom. Stayed on high all weekend. Ice maker didn’t produce much ice. Minor issues but overall a very pleasant experience. Would definitely stay there again!"

"They are trying to renovate an old Victorian house, but really do not seem to have any experience with hotels or B&B's. The room we had was painted poorly with messy paint lines at the trim and paint drips on the floor. The caulking in the shower was comically bad. The shower was quite small. "Check in is at 4. We arrived at 6:30 and were told our room wasn't ready. The staff member wasn't compelled to "find" a room or confirm the room was clean until AFTER I showed displeasure and told her to find a room. We then had a 20 minute wait on top of the 20 minutes it had already taken to start check in. We were the only patrons checking in. The booking was made a week in advance.
