BJ quickly responded to my Facebook post about the opening and was very welcoming! We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend in Evarts! We loved the location to the trails! "We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The home itself was spotless, well-maintained, and full of charm. One of our favorite features was the lovely back porch—perfect for relaxing in the morning with coffee or winding down in the evening.The location was central and convenient, with easy access to nearby lakes and only about two hours from both the Kentucky Horse Park and Natural Bridge State Resort Park. It made for a perfect base for day trips and outdoor adventures.Would definitely...

"The property is Beautiful! Everything was there if/when we needed it. The river is gorgeous. We spent a lot of time, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and swimming."

"I did not stay at this property due to a double booking. I stayed at a nearby house that needs to be cleaned better, specially the floors, a shower curtain needs to be added to the beautiful update in bathroom, some plates woukd be nice. House rules and check in, check out procedures, places to visit and eat nearby would have been helpful to have posted at the house. Overall was a decent place to stay, quiet neighborhood. I would at least consider staying again."

"This was a very charming house in Cumberland Gap. We were in the area for an event for LMU so the location was excellent. Everything was provided so that was a plus. The house was a 1928 house which gave it its charm. The books that were displayed were so interesting along with the family photos and albums. The only drawback which was not a big problem was that the refrigerator was not a full size fridge. It was probably a medium size fridge and it did have a freezer as well. Overall...

"We enjoyed our weekend at the cozy cottage on the Cumberland gap. The only thing I would improve on is the bed that is very creaky. Also communication was minimal. I couldn’t see the links given in the message and the hosts didn’t respond to my question. All good though because it was just as pictured. "

"this was our second stay here. Property is well stocked with everything you need. Home was very clean and property was beautiful as ever. We did notice new chairs and outdoor couches on the front and rear porch. great addition. we will be back to stay again. great access to Leatherwood and many other trails. "
