"My 26 year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the High View Hideaway.  Although it dropped to 17 degrees during our visit, we were always comfortable.  The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our trip.  The cabin is a bit off the trail, but we knew that going in and we were easily able to find some nice local trails to explore.  The Big Schloss trail was our favorite.  Since we both work remotely, I should also mention that the WIFI worked just fine....

"The cabin was everything I hoped it would be...and more. The kitchen was decked out with beautiful dishes, glassware and cookware. The linens and towels were luxurious. The mattress in the bedroom was quite comfortable and the sleep sofa mattress ... I could sleep on that every night. Very unexpected quality for a sleep sofa. The views were breathtaking. We were lucky to enjoy a rainstorm and got to listen to the rain on the tin roof. It was hard to leave. 5 stars."

"The cabin is beautiful as well as the property if sits on halfway up a mountain! We enjoyed hiking on the property and the seclusion of the cabin. It was great that each of the three bedrooms had their own full bath, and the two rooms/beds we used were very comfortable. The kitchen was great and the living room relaxing with the floor to ceiling windows on one side of the cabin! The owner was easy to contact when we had a problem turning off the fireplace on our arrival, and was easy to...

"We loved our stay here! The cabin was clean and cozy and looked just like the photos. The hot tub was clean and ready to go. There is a nice yard and the road is quiet so our dog was off leash most of the week with no issues. The neighbors were so nice, multiple people stopped to talk to us when we were hanging out on the front porch. We didn’t hear back from the owner for about a week when we initially reached out (before the trip) but communication was quick and thorough every time after that....

Great place for children too, especially our 6 month old as the location had a pack and play as well as a high chair, making our packing that much lighter. Great communication with host.
