"We were in Longview for a baby shower for our 14th great grandchild. The property was OUTSTANDING! Completely the same as pictured on the VRBO site. Sitting on the deck overlooking the golf course was very pleasant. The bedrooms comfortable and nicely decorated, the living room and kitchen spacious and the garage a plus! Hope to stay there again! "

"Our party of 10 was very comfortable. I really liked having 2 refrigerators to hold all the food we brought. Rocking across the front porch in the morning was very peaceful with all the sounds of birds and nature. Loved the huge island in the kitchen - made buffet line to serve easy and huge dining table with enough chairs and more was a plus. "Had a great time at the cottage. Lake Hawkins is a beautiful getaway. We caught plenty of fish and made lots of memories with our 2 year old grandbaby. The dock and fire pit were our favorites. Red Rooster Ice house is definitely a must out to eat option. We loved it. "

"There is a coziness when you walk in, and so much space. All kinds of areas to chat or get in your own space if you want cozy with a book or you want to comfort casual in the living room. The kitchen and the cookware lovely and quality. Plush bathroom towels. The décor is soft on the eye, thought put into it, not bland nothingness. The extra touches like the drapes and tablecloth lovely. The hutch a lovely surprise. Comfortable places in the home. Peaceful, quiet. Looking out to the front...

"We all loved this home so very much that we are thinking about already booking for next summer. From the perfect location, beautiful home and decor to the relaxing back patio to hang out on and wait for deer to wander up. The house was so clean with plenty of towels for everyone and the kitchen was stocked with any dishes we may have needed. Host was friendly and communicated so very well. Can't wait to return!! "

"Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. "

"This home is gorgeous and very spacious. The sun room windows look out to the lake and is the best view in the house. The kitchen was well equipped. The steep hill to the lake may be difficult for some, but we had no problems. The kayaks were easily accessible. The Bald Eagles on the lake were an unexpected bonus for this property. The owners communication was excellent! We would definitely stay there again."
