"Amazing stay, so spacious and beautiful apartment."

"I hated the location as I came by Amtrak. It is almost two miles from downtown and on a highway that is anything but pedestrian friendly. The first day of my stay, there was almost no hot water and the management did not seem to notice that. They fixed it after I complained on the second day. For $240 a night (note-my downtown Washington DC hotel the night before my arrival in St. Albans was $150.), this hotel was not worth it!"

"Stayed in Room 2. Perfect! Bed extremely comfortable! Owners are very nice and helpful. Highly recommended"

"On a scale of one to five, I would give this property a six! Not only are the quaint cabins in the woods clean and modern, but there are plenty of extras: Firewood for the wood stove; coffee; Adirondack chairs on the porch overlooking the pond; Walking trails around their huge property. Why wouldn't you want to come back every year?"

"A really cool place that is well-maintained and cozy. Hope they stay in business for a long time, because I will surely be returning!"

"A total disappointment in a no hospitable environment that one would think is operating for monetary reasons only. Hosts were not visible at all unless you were repeatedly given some pieces of pancake every day for breakfast. Towels still smelled the previous guest body odors and didn’t feel good about non-white bedsheets or towels, doubting if there were hiding stains or unwashed sets. Couple rolls of paper towels in the car helped us pleasantly after each shower. The decorations or many acres...

"Excellent staff"

"Jason is incredible. He arranged the greatest color in years just for our stay. The breakfast and rooms were perfect, too."

"Clean condo, kitchen had all you needed, close to Mogul Mouse lift. "

"Owner is responsive by email, tort is charming, and furniture is comfy and bright but the port-a-potty was far away, the lights were either all on or all off, there were many spaces where bugs can come in, and there was an “outdoor shower” with cold water and zero privacy curtain. Parking is not well marked and another guest parked in our spot, which we complained about but we were told to park in another spot further away."

"WARNING: Host will wait until you check in and then tell you that the booking is for less days than confirmed and use predatory practices saying you have to accept the initial days to process through the request for the final day. The host knew they could only book for the shorter days because that was on the paper work at check in. They didn’t want us to cancel the whole trip, which we would have done, so they waited to inform us until after check in and driving 10.5 hours knowing we were...

"The house was as pictured. It was close to the slopes so we didn't have to catch a shuttle. There were no issues with hot water even though 4 people were sharing it. Garrett was super responsive to my messages. It was a great place to stay. Nichole"

"Very easy place to stay! Open for us (unlocked) to arrive. Parking right by the front door for unloading. Clean, straight forward, everything as described - no questions or issues. Would definitely book again if we have a need!"

"Lovely Home! Quiet, secluded, fantastic for a long weekend in the woods. No issues with the hosts at all! Love the property."

"Overall, we had a great visit to the Smuggs area and the unit was fun and acceptable for our needs, albeit some info about the unit was left off the listing or under communicated... ProsLocation! This rental is practically at the base of Smuggs, with easy access to both the mountain and disc golf. Walking distance to a pizza joint and nice brewery. 30 mins to Stowe and 1 hr. from BurlingtonThe unit is full of games of all kinds for kids and family fun!The available amenities were great (hot tub...

"The room was exceptionally clean. I used to be a professional cleaner so I have high standards to cleanliness. The staff were so nice and were willing to help if you had any questions. The kitchen was great! I have many dietary issues and having a fully working kitchen was amazing and well stocked with dishes. The view was amazing as well. My husband and I are planning our next trip and are excited to stay at Smugglers Notch again!"
