"It was everything as advertised. Had good communication with Misty the owner. Really convenient to Caesar's Casino, restaurants etc. Everything was so clean and well laid out. After we recover from our losses at the Casino, we will probably rent it again when we return. Eileen Findlay/Pamela Houle"

"The home was perfect for our family. I have stayed at several VRBO’s and this one has been the easiest entry by far. I will definitely book this home again for our events at VIR. "

"As a person who travels alot for work and normally stays in a chain hotel room, I was extremely impressed with this property - it is clean, well appointed, quite comfortable and in a convenient location. I highly recommend this property!!"

"We stayed four days for my Mom's 84th bd..This home is way way underpriced..Three bedroom 2 bath and a 4-8' pool..normally 350 would be reasonable.. I can't tell you the deal we received.. The Host answered ALL of our questions/ concerns within 5 minutes..What more could one ask for? "

It was chilly during our stay but we took advantage of the location and walked just a short distance to a couple local bars/restaurants, did the river walk, checked out the farmers market next door and ventured to the casino that was only a few miles away. "Beautiful home with spacious bedrooms and living areas for family to spend time together. Very clean and neat. We enjoyed having coffee together on the spacious front porch in the morning. Excellent location and within walking distance to a coffee/wine cafe. "

"5 stars. Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s bigger than we imagined and Danville has so much to offer. We thank the Mansion for the life long memories. Considering the age of the Mansion it really a sight to behold and take in / enjoy. "

"Everything was well-appointed and included plenty of towels, kitchenwares, and even a few little snacks. We had a challenge getting our key code to work, but the owner responded quicorrectly, I think the listing noted having a hot tub, but I think there was only a bath tub, so that might need clarified. Definitely a beautifully decorated and inviting home! Thank you, again!"

"My family stayed here for my son’s graduation and had a cookout after, property was in a great setting with a great space for our family to enjoy the pool and outdoor kitchen. We will be back. Great time had by all!"

"Nice and peaceful location. We really enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. Loved the convenience of rinsing off in the outdoor shower as well. The house was well stocked. There were extra throw blankets and even a fire starter for the fire pit. I would recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway. "

"Overall the stay was pretty good. We were visiting the area for a family reunion, and my family is huge and loud, so it was really nice to have a quiet spot to come home to. I loved the quiet, the house was very quaint and cute, nearest neighbors were close enough to see but too far to hear. Plenty of space for us to stretch out. Hubby loved sitting on the patio watching the wildlife and fireflies, me not so much, lol. That was the only negative for me; the bugs...it was manageable, but if youre...

"House is perfect for larger families or groups! Plenty of amenities and a great dock to fish off of. Pretty view, and very easy to access the property. Not too far from Danville, Roxboro or VIR. Since no house is perfect….the batteries in the remote for the TV need to be replaced. LOL. Other than that…house was perfect! Thank you! "
