"The room was basic, but clean. The bed and pillows were not that great, but it worked for a one night stay. Breakfast was small bagels, waffles warmed up in the toaster, and muffins. The front desk staff was nice."

"The General Denver is a charming and well maintained historical hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The adjoining restaurant is convenient and the food is great! Because this is a historical hotel, some of the rooms may be on the small side. If you are looking for something spacious, this may not be the place for you."

"Very clean and nicely done property. Very close to college. There’s a hot tub which is a nice addition but I wasn’t able to utilize. I just ran out of time. I love that I could bring my dog and there’s a nice fenced in area to let him play while I was unloading and loading the car. Couldn’t ask for a much better place. I’ll definitely stay here again."
