"My grandson and I very much enjoyed our stay at Charles City. Our first morning we got up so late we missed the breakfast. The next morning, we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel has a high standard of cleanliness. Our room was wonderful. The public areas are very well-kept, and the breakfast area looked terrific. "We came up for an evening getaway without the kids, hoping for some quiet relaxation, and that’s exactly what we got. The cabin had everything we needed. It was nice having the canoes and kayaks available which we took full advantage of. She read a book outside by the fire pit and we enjoyed the hot tub later in the evening.
