"The cabin was very cute, it is really for people who are younger and wants to camp out. For us it was not a good fit. It was discribed as a two room but it’s really only one room with a loft for sleeping. The water pressure is very low and the electric kept going out. My dad has a C-pac so we had to leave and find somewhere else to stay."

"A quiet oasis just far away from everything. I was looking for a cabin in the woods that would give me peace and quiet for the weekend and this property hit the nail right on the head. It has everything you could possibly need. From the wrap around porch to the separate patio and fire pits. With plenty of room for the dogs to run free and play. "My son and I were in town for a fishing tournament on Kerr Lake. The property was perfect for us. It is definitely off the beaten path, but we loved it. Couldn't use the dock because the water was too high in the lake, but we loved it. "

"Cabin was very clean,well stocked,close to the lake and convenient to town."

"We had a wonderful stay at this lake front property. The house accommodated 3 generations of our family. The basement was perfect for the teenagers and kids. They enjoyed the ping pong and air hockey tables. We brought our boat and enjoyed so much time on the water, as well as floating, swimming and fishing from the dock. The communication from the owner was excellent and we highly recommend this vacation rental. "

"The view of the cove from the deck was great and a short walk to the deck and water. The cove was shallow but we were able to dock the pontoon. The house is a short boat ride to town. It felt like we were in the woods but actually in a neighborhood. I would stay there again. "

"This was our 2nd stay at this wonderful location. The 1st was my husband and I in the winter and it was a perfect cozy weekend. Our 2nd trip was with family and friends for the Lakefest , which the wonderful hosts had informed of us. Everyone had an amazing time with so many lake activities to enjoy!!! You cannot ask for better hosts and their furry 4 legged babies! Thanks for great memories "

"This was our second 4th of July weekend at Margo’s lovely cabin. It is perfectly located near our yearly family reunion and allows us our own space away from the rest of the crowd. Margo is a great communicator and very responsive to questions and suggestions. Kids loved the loft and we all loved the screened in sun porch. We did not use the golf cart this year….just not enough time to work that activity into other planned activities. The kitchen could use a little replenishment(which has...

"Perfect cottage for us to stay in across from the family home. "

"We had a great stay. We had my 84 year old father and mother and three adult children and spouses and 2 adult grandkids with their spouses. The house was plenty big enough and the walk to the dock was nice and flat. We stayed in June during a massive heatwave in the upper 90s each day. We would like to come back in the fall. The kitchen was stocked with everthing imaginable and loads of china. My mother was so excited. We ate on different china for each meal. "

"We loved staying at Stillwater’s! It had everything we needed and more! We made a nice campfire one night and the kids made s’mores. Easy access to the dock down a nice path. The water was high when we first got there but gradually came down as the week went on. The hot tub is an added bonus! Our host, Ada, was very quick to answer any questions we had and I enjoyed chatting with her. I would highly recommend this beautiful home to any family groups for a great lake vacation!"

"Michael was an excellent host. Property was clean and equipped as promised. Complete with Keurig and K-cups! Very quiet community, close to the places that we needed to go. High Bridge Trail is nearby, Three Rivers Brewery in Farmville. Nice selection of local houses of worship in the area. Would definitely recommend"

"This home was absolutely perfect for our family vacation and the photos don’t do it justice! The view from the back deck is absolutely breathtaking. The dock was big enough to tie up our 2 jet skis, fish and relax for our whole family. The home provided plenty of activities to do from cornhole to kayaking and everyone slept comfortably. Host is very friendly, quick to respond and accommodating. Highly recommended this for your next family vacay. We will definitely be back! "
