"The place was great. Nice cozy fireplace and only about a 30 minute drive to Duluth. Had all the necessities we needed. The place is a back from the road so just have to keep your eyes peeled for the green address posted by the road. We even saw a deer while pulling into the driveway on our last night!"

And communication with the owners is the best I’ve ever experienced. They were incredibly responsive and made helpful recommendations for restaurants, trails, kayak rentals and more. "The house was very clean. Property owners were very fast at responding to any needs. Hot tub was perfect for cold nights and tub was perfect right before bed time. Dogs had plenty of space to run and explore. Smokeless fire pit was a great addition for the cold nights. We definitely will be back again with the kids. Thank you again. Also, candles were such a great addition to the house! "

"The camper was literally perfect. John thought of everything and the camper is stocked with all that you need for your stay. From trash bags to pillows and blankets, pots and pans to silverware. The wifi worked great and allowed me to work each day before we went out to explore. The campground is quiet and peaceful and the site was stocked with tons of wood for us to make a fire. John was incredibly responsive and my family loved our stay. We cannot wait to visit again. "

"We went back and forth about booking due to the reviews and I’m so glad we just went ahead and booked. It’s definitely a good old northern cabin on the lake, outdated, and some spider webs. But, the lake was nice, nice dock, fire pit cozy, beds were comfy and we had a great time! Would definitely rebook if we find ourselves in the area again."
