"I really don’t know why this hotel has so many positive reviews. Its greater advantage is the location - in a walking distance to Aquarium - and the hotel seems to be new. But that’s all. The hotel is overpriced for what it offers; there is no safe box in the rooms, very poor breakfast, no daily cleaning, no room service, and has a paid self parking lot with no security. And although the check in was very nice - Tanysha, the front desk person of the night shift, is a really attentive e...

"The bed was comfortable. The pool was freezing cold. When I asked the desk clerk if the pool was heated, he said yes. The maintenance man must have forgot to turn it on. (Poor excuse). So couldn’t use the pool. Breakfast was not good. Had those stupid vegetable omelets. No meat. Not impressed. We went somewhere else for breakfast. Over all. Will not go back to Hampton inn."

"Lots of choices for breakfast and was brought to your room. Received a free upgrade which was a nice surprise"

"First, let me tell you that you have to climb two very steep sets of stairs to even get to the unit. When we arrived the code we were given was incorrect and we couldn't get into the unit. Tried calling the number provided and no one ever answered. Thankfully they did call back, but it took a while. Once in the unit we found it was very dirty and did not feel safe because the code to get into our unit was the same as the one used to access the building as well, which made me feel anyone would be...

"The host was very pleasant and any issues we had. He took care of not a problem. We plan on staying there again."

"Such a cute place! Was perfect for our mother/daughter overnight stay. The bathroom was gorgeous. The only MINOR thing was being able to hear others upstairs through the vents in the bathroom, but again so minor!"

"While the website states "no elevator", NO WHERE does it say that the units are on the 3rd & 4th floors, up VERY STEEP stairs. NOT user-friendly."

"If you want secluding, comfy, quiet, and all around great place to be then this is the place. Well stocked for the 13 people we had stay with enough hot water to go around. Lisa was very prompt on replies and was an absolute sweetheart. Would recommend this place to anyone. Very nice getaway!!!"

"Excellent! Location, ambiance, total experience!!!"

"A nice roomy space in a convenient location."

"This spot is a gem! It’s in the perfect location, it’s a great size with great amenities. It was a welcome “home base” for a trip to Newport! And the hosts were so communicative and shared so many great tips and local insights for our stay. Will definitely book here again for our next trip!"

"Comes with 4 BR each with a Queen bed or bigger. Plus a pull out couch in the basement and a twin in one of the rooms. So it was a little cozy. The weird thing was having to walk through a bathroom to get to basement. But thats a design thing from a hundred years ago. The hot tub was amazing. It was 5 min drive to Over-The-Rhine district in Cincinnati. Would rent again"
