"This was a great location for all we planned on seeing in this section of Pennsylvania. The home was very clean and neat; roomy and nice design; had everything you would need to prepare meals; quiet and peaceful backyard. We saw an Eagle, a Blue Heron and a Kingfisher at the creek. "This is what I call getting away. My family had a great week from early morning hot tub soaks to family feuds over playing Uno and Monopoly! We only got one clear night in the star gazing field and the moon was a bit to bright but it was still beautiful. The property is clean and well stocked with just about everything you could need! "Emporium is an old town so we knew ahead of time the home was going to be older. I think they did a nice job bringing it up to date considering its age. Beds were fairly comfortable. The detergent used for the comforter was a bit strong. Fridge's water/ice machine didn't seem to work but there was fresh water in the fridge for us guests.
