"Incredible cabin and overall experience! From the homegrown veggies and freshly-picked flowers waiting for us when we got there, to the serenely peaceful environment and proximity to the talladega national forest…I can’t overstate how wonderful our stay was. "The sugar shack was a great place to stay with my husband and daughter. Being right on the lake was amazing. It was just enough room for the three of us. The grill was in great condition, we grilled out each night of our stay. I think it’s important for anyone staying here knows that getting to the house from the top of the driveway and getting down to the lake could be challenging if you have any mobility issues. "This is our third year in a row renting this cabin. We enjoy the quiet and relaxing cove. It is a good distance from the town, so make sure you take what you need. The boat dock is GREAT and accommodates our ski and Jon boat. We bring our paddleboard and enjoy paddling through this cove. The owners have 2 kayaks you can use as well. "

"The house is very cute little place for a stay on the lake. The bedroom with 2 beds had several dead bugs along the wall, maybe just need cleaned a little better. Overall house was very cute.
