"All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel isn't old but its not new- do with that what you will. The bathrooms dont have fans or even a vent so that was interesting. It was a safe and clean stay."

"Checked out after 1 and a half days because of the cockroaches and other bugs both live and dead in the room including the one that landed on my pillow. The room was very dirty, the sheets were full of hair stains and dirt. The shower had no door or curtain and was so small I could not even bend to stretch my back. When I checked out I was still charged for the full stay of 5 days no refund. The royal inn should be shut down by the health department. I moved to the super 8 hotel in Kenedy very...

"The facility was clean but no spic and span. I found it odd that the housekeeping carts stayed out in the hallways all day and night, including when not in use. I feel like there may be a staffing issue and that the front desk person has a lot of responsibilities away from the front desk. Otherwise for the price, it wasn't bad."
