"Thr ONLY reason I did jot give 5 stars is bc the selling points for me were the waterfall & the hot tub. With the last few weeks I had, I picked this place to be able to relax by the waterfall & do absolutely nothing and relax my body in the hot tub (which was desperately needed). The waterfall was hardly anything (which apparently the resort doesn't manage) and the hot tub was not working; they could've posted that information on their website. "The restaurant is not very helpful for your stay. A slip and a reservation for the restaurant should be given priority to guests. We stayed in the lodge but no one had info about much. Our waitress was the most helpful. We couldn’t reserve or hold a slip so we didn’t chance arriving by boat. We had already reserved because the website says restaurant and dock onsite. But those amenities have nothing to do with the lodge. We couldn’t reserve a table for dinner and waited 45 minutes standing in...

Asked if we could come earlier than 4, host said she would let us know after cleaning crew no response, asked how to turn down mini split, hours later responded to which her instructions did not work. "Let me first brag on the staff at this establishment. The gentleman that was the on-site staff went above and beyond to accommodate us beyond our expectations. One issue we had was the disappointment of only two bathrooms, though they were nice, there were only two. had we known before hand, not sure we would have booked. We had our dog with us, so we really enjoyed the walking trails and natural areas. We had 9 tent campers next to us who did not respect the rules of 10:00 pm - 8:00 am...
