"Had a great stay over new year at the properties. One family in one bungalow and us in the other. Property was clean and fresh. Beautiful welcome items left for us by the owners, who were lovely and couldnt do enough for us. Woke up to the spectacular views and literally could have sat and watched the horses all day! The lodges were cosy and warm. We all loved it. The only thing i would have preferred was a slightly earlier check-in time, perhaps 3pm instead of 5pm. But thats just wee personal...

"I liked having the kitchen area with a fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The free standing fan came in very handy as it was very hot when I visited. As a solo traveller I felt very safe and found it very quiet. Handy to have shops and restaurants nearby. Great to have free parking right at the front of the building."

"Communicated a number of issues with my one night stay to Hotels.com and the property did not respond to these issues. Issues mainly around the following: numerous large dirty carpet stains throughout apartment; toiletries of previous guests in bathroom (including toothpaste, shower gel, deodorant and hair spray); cardboard and sticky tape used to secure pipes in bathroom; various damage to furnishing including hole in blind and faulty blinds which could not be pulled up; dirty stains on...

"The modern kitchen, beautiful grounds and historic stairways and rooms were so clean and comfortable for us. I was impressed because it’s not easy to keep such an old property in such a clean condition! I even had a bath one night. We loved exploring the woods and small stream around the house as well as getting out to other spots around Scotland. The house was out of the way but easily accessible even for those used to driving on the other side of the road! Loved our time here. Only downside...

"Fantastische Unterkunft und sehr nette Vermieter. Idealer Ort, um Ruhe zu genießen und Ausflüge zu unternehmen (Edingburgh, Glasgow, Fife, Highlands usw). Sehr gute Ausstattung der gemütlichen und großen Unterkunft und als Highlight der private Whirlpool mit traumhaftem Blick und der Tennisplatz. "The hotel is close to zoo, so several buses to the city center are available at the bus stop just in front. It lies in a pleasant residencial neighbourhood. The breakfast is a matter of taste: good for the English standards maybe, but no papaia, no melon and no cheese. There is no self laundry and the nearest one is about 2 km, the same distance to a good Sainsbury supermarket."
