"The place was great, tiny cabin on a lot with guest-shared bathroom and kitchen. Great location, close and overlooking Nelson. Lovely little patio. My only complaint was that we got there right after a long hike and I really wanted a hot shower and there was some large scary bugs in the shower. But that can’t be helped in a kind of outside bathroom. The host was great and gave us great recommendations on things that were happening in Nelson. "

"Wonderful stay. The check-in and checkout were seamless. The cabin was well built and furnished. We found that all the amenities we needed were available. "The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It was a nice spot to sleep and relax in to serve as a base to explore the valley and near by parks. Cabin was clean and comfortable and the hosts we friendly and helpful. The setting in rural in a forest/ranchland so there are insects outside and some come in when you open the door as expected. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. It is in a perfect location for exploring the surrounding national parks. Yoho, Glacier, and Kootenay are each about an hour's drive away.The town of Golden is quite charming with 2 grocery stores, a liquor store, several restaurants, and a fabulous bakery called Ethos. We enjoyed hikes in each of the national parks, our 2 favorites being Emerald Basin, off of Emerald Lake in Yoho, and Stanley Glacier in Kootenay. There is a great restaurant in...
