The traditional breakfast was fantastic and we have had it 100x before - they just do it better. After check out, they let us hang and relax by the pool as we waited for our shuttle, not making us feel rushed at all - very hospitable the whole time!"

"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"Our host Jason went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay at his place. We had support in getting to use a local pool, with groceries and transportation to our next location to mention a few. If you need local insights and super hospitality then go with Jason. The location is in a quiet local neighbourhood and it feels safe to have kids running around outside. "Great little house with everything you need. The pool is a bit small, but has an outdoor shower and bbq! The only thing is that we thought it was beach front and it is really a Kilometre away ot more. However, Carrillo beach is isolated and beautiful!"

"Our stay at Villa Amore was fabulous! The house was beautiful, the pool spectacular, and the view of the ocean divine. Laura was so easy to work with and answered all of my many questions in a very timely manner.
