"Property is very peaceful and quiet. Can walk the the whole beach and never see anyone else. Beach is beautiful but not great for swimming during low tide. Good snorkeling out at the reef but probably about a 500m walk during low tide and pretty rough water while we were there; water shoes are a must! We stayed in one of their newer bungalows which was very clean and well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not much to do in the area but relax, however town is only about a 10-15min...

"I really enjoyed my stay at Maravu Taveuni Resort. My bure was beautiful, with the added charm of an outdoor shower, and felt tucked away in the jungle while still offering stunning sunset views over the ocean. "The property is beautiful and the owners are so nice. It is very remote area, so only one option for dining. You can cook I. Your kitchenette, but we were not prepared for the hotel being so far away from the nearest store or restaurant. Plan ahead. Shop on your way there or co tact owners ahead of time to see about arranging for meals. "
